PET OF THE MONTH
Today is the day; I was so excited I was going to get my dog, my puppy, my Sheltie! We chose Brandy from a breeder southwest of Waukesha in June 2001. Brandy’s Mom was a beautiful show dog and a smaller breed Sheltie. Brandy was the runt of the litter, weighing only 1.5# when we brought her home.

ANN-MARGRET MORGAN, DVM
Dr. Morgan is a 1992 graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College, Ontario, Canada. She practiced for seven years in the Niagara Peninsula where she became interested in Complementary Therapies and holistic medicine.
Dr. Morgan went on to receive her certification in Veterinary Spinal Manipulation by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association in 1998 and Veterinary Acupuncture by the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society in 1999. She practiced traditional and holistic medicine for 6½ years at Silver Spring Animal Wellness Center in Milwaukee, where she received additional training in herbs and nutrition.
In 2005 Dr. Morgan completed training in Canine Rehabilitation at the Canine Rehabilitation Institute in Loxahatchee, Florida. In March 2006, she joined Pewaukee Veterinary Services as director of the Rehabilitation Center. Dr. Morgan’s special interests include pain management and nutrition.
She is a member of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association and the International Veterinary Academy of pain management.
