Dr. Randolph J. Schuett

RANDOLPH J. SCHUETT, DVM

Dr. Randy Schuett, DVM is the owner and founder of Pewaukee Veterinary Service. He received his undergraduate and DVM degree from Kansas State University and opened the clinic in 1975 with the vision to give the community, his clients, and their pets the best veterinary health care available.

A former president of the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association (WVMA), Dr. Schuett has been active for many years in the WVMA in a variety of roles. He also currently serves as the Wisconsin delegate to the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).

Dr. Schuett’s special interests include diagnostics and surgery utilizing a variety of rigid and flexible scopes. He is a pioneer in the use of laparoscopic technique in veterinary applications. As a result, he has traveled across the United States and overseas, sharing his expertise in this technique with other veterinary practitioners. He has been active for a number of years in an on-going research project studying the use of laparoscopy in reproduction of bears. By refining this technique, researchers may hopefully be able to extend and enhance the breeding capabilities of endangered species such as the giant panda.

Fishing, hunting and family keep Dr. Schuett busy when he is not spoiling his grandkids.
