Physical Therapy
Canine
Physical Therapy is the utilization of physical therapy skills in the
valuation and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, neurological
dysfunction and biomechanical abnormality in dogs. A physical therapist
will evaluate your dog and develop an individualized treatment plan to
improve their functional mobility, strength, range of motion and
neurological status. The treatment plan may include manual therapy,
therapeutic exercise, modalities, functional training and neuromuscular
reeducation.
Clients will be educated about their
pet's condition, proper body mechanics and how to follow through on their
pet's exercise prescription and treatment plan at home.
